We decided to clear up beaches that have lots of seaweed and use it to improve the health of plants. It is an old Cornish tradition for farmers to take their tractors onto the beach and collect trailers full of seaweed to spread across their crop fields. 

Seaweed has many benefits for plants:

• Seaweed has been proven to accelerate the health and growth of plants.

• Seaweed contains many micro nutrients to help protect plants from disease.

• Seaweed can nourish and strengthen plant roots and limbs.

Our plant food also contains used coffee grounds and eggshells from local Cornish cafes and restaurants:

• Coffee contains nitrogen which can aid growth in plants and vegetables also.

• Eggshells provide an extra source of calcium for plants.
